Question by Graham H: UK Isn’t it amazing that wearing a silver bangle could be more important than education?
An Asian girl was banned from school because of a small silver wrist bangle which has some religious significance to her.

You would think that being educated to Degree level and being responsible for the education of the next generation that teachers would not be so petty minded about completely unimportant issues.
If she wears a small silver bangle or not WHO CARES. the same school allows wrist watches which are actually bigger than the bangle and often a good deal uglier.
Why don’t the British stop worrying about if some guy lights a cigarette up in his own van or if a girl wears a small silver bangle to school, mind their own business and find some real work to do.
