ok someone please help me…Im getting married on sept 26th and i was wrapping my bridesmaids jewelry last night and noticed the silver isnt as pretty and shiny as it was when i bought them a few months back..it sorta looks a little rusty lookin..its not THAT bad but i want them pretty and shiny again….i know i prob shouldnt of gotten them so early but i wasnt sure they were gonna be the right color and match good enuf..and i liked them so much that i didnt want them to be gone or unavailable if i waited til now to buy them..soooo anyways does anyone know how i could clean them and make em shiny again?? i dont wanna ruin them even more since there are pearls and swardowski crystals on them too…someone please help!!!! thanks!!

Question by andshewaits: If I get a Tax ID# so I can purchase wholesale jewelry making supplies, do I have to file a tax return?
I won’t have any employees, it is just me making jewelry. I’m in Texas, USA. I think I just have to fill out the SS-4 form to get the ID. Just not sure what to do from there.

The jewelry does say it’s silver and I got a new jar (the dipping kind) of cleaner.
How do I keep my silver jewelry clean? It looks great coming out of the cleaner, but after a while it looks worst then it did in the first place before I even wear it. any ideas?

hey…i know its a big problem
the reason is that due to the presence of sulphur particles in air the silverware “tarnishes”
it menas a blackish layer is formed, resulting in a dullish look ,,,,
u can do 2 things
1. either keep it in clean surroundings(maybe the place where u have kept the container has more sulphur in it )
2. the best way to clean it is -applt toothpaste to it and then rub it with the help of medium hardness brush(toothbrush).and the container will shine again …and probably for a longer time!!!

I want to give my bridesmaids an earring and necklace set as a gift for standing up in my wedding. However, I didn’t want to spoil the surprise. Some are asking what type of jewelry should they shop for. And we’re not giving gifts until the rehearsal dinner the night before. What is the best way for me to hint to them not to buy earrings or necklaces for the wedding day? If at all possible, I’d didn’t even want to mention any gift…but that may not be possible, huh.
I actually convinced one of my BMs to get her ears pierced….so telling them NOT to jewelry would sound strange.

All you really need other than the beads, is a good set of bottle nose pliers ( the real skinny headed ones), fishing line/see-thru plastic thread & the clamps/closures. Have fun!
